BOWLING.
On Wednesday morning rinks froiin clubs in the Manawatu Bowling Centre, will leave for Wellington, where on arrival games will be played against rinks from the clubs bi Wellington. The Shannon Club will be represented by Messrs E. Spencer, E. Butt, \V. Clayton, and W. H. Gunning. The local green will l>e closed for play from Saturday, April 17th. The groenkeeper ceased operations. from Saturday last, but members who wish to play during the week will have to prepare their own green.
