SHANNON AMATEUR ATHLETIC AND CYCLING SPORTS.
TOMORROW. : Given a fine day to-morrow there should be a large attendance at the Athletic Club's sponts to be held in the Domain. The entries for the various events aire large, a numiber of outside entries having been received, many coining from as far afield as Wellington. Hot water will foe provided free and arrangements have been made for a rest room for mothers which will 4>e in (Charge of the Town Baby Committee, who will also take charge of small children and care for them, thus enabling their mothers to view the sports without having to worry over them. The catering will be in the hands of the Farmers' Baby Committee and nothing will he wanting in this respect. All that as required is a fine day and the success of the meeting is assured.
