Levin further increased, their lead in tiie cricket competition on Saturday, by easily disposing of a weak Weraroa B team, and winning by an innings and 44 runs. Weraroa B took first strike, but could collect only 35 runs, Harding and Hiough being the only batsmen to reach double figures. Bennett took four wickets for two runs, including the hat trick, other good averages being recorded by Phillips and Field. Levin declared with 6 wickets for 120, and sent Weraroa in again. Phillips batted nicely for hig half century. Weraroa made another feeble showing in their second innings, Field proving very destructive with the ball, taking 5 wickets for 10 runs.
