WERAROA FOOTBALL CLUB.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING^. The annual general meeting of the Weraroa Football Club took place on Thursday evening in Mr Bould’s saloon, where about 30 members were in attendance. The following new members were; elected: Messrs J.. Ganbett, Christensen, C, Dunn, Warwick, R. Williams, H. Walls, K. Perry, R. Robertson, J. Honore, H. McDonald, G. Blake. Mr Peters commented upon-the services rendered the dulb by Messrs Hooper, O’Connor, Boulton, and Sadd, who had been the founders of the cluib and been instrumental in placing it in its present sound 'position, both numerically and financially, and proposed these gentlemen for lifemembership. This was earned, without dissent. The Club proposes to enter four teams in the coming season. FINANCIAL STATEMENT. The treasurer submitted a statement of the Club’s position which disclosed the following particulars:— Receipts: Balance from last season £5 18s lid. Bevenue from all sources, £35 6s lid. Expenditure: Sundry expenses, including insurance fees, footballs, general charges and affiliation fees, £29 6s 6d, leaving a credit balance of £ll 19s 4d.
