WIDOW SEEKS DAMAGES.
NAPIER, March L A claim for £5600 was commented in the Supreme Court by Elsena Agues Christie Dyett, of Manaia, Taranaki, widow ' against Walter Manson, sawmiller,'of Port Ahuriri. The claim set out that in July 1924 defendant, knowing he was suffering from a disorder, unlawfully assaulted and by force carnally knew plaintiff, communicating the disease from, wlr.c i he suffered. -The statement , 0 f defence was a complete denial of .all the a -legations except .an admission mat illicit relationship had occurred on occasion with the full consent of . plaintiff.’
