HER MOTHER ROBBED. NEW YORK, December 18. Lady Diana Duli-Gooper slipped and sprained her ankle while playing the part of the nun in "The Miracle" at Boston. She was leaiving the stage after the first scene to find an official to provide a seat for her mother, the Duchess of Rutland, when she fell. Her ankle was handaged, and although suffering much pain she continued to Play her role throughout the evening. The Duchess arrived in. Boston before the performance. When the news of their identity spread a large crowd gathered on the- platform. During the greetings to tire Duchess of Rutland a porter placed her bag on the platform. It was stolen and the thief escaped. Pickpockets also robbed Miss Tree and Miss Ladd of a considerable sum of money. .
