“DRY” AGENTS CHARGED.
NEW YORK, Saturday, involve Prohibition agents have been arrested here on charge of being in illegal possession of liquor. - Among the arrested is Mr Clyde Cheeseman, ;in agent, who is described as one ofjUie most active officials in the New iprk (N.J.) district, and he and others will he specifically charged with being in possession of over 2000 cases of 1 beer, w'hich were awaiting transfer from New- Jersey to New York City. Recently fifty policemen of Cincinnati were indicted for alleged violations of Iln> Prohibition law. The “Daily Graphic,” March 28th, 1925, says:—“Prohibition leads ten corruption and contempt for law. It is impractical)!e and cannot be enforced It is farcical and dangerous. It merely 'prohibits sobriety among people who would otherwise be temperate.” Keep New' Zealand free from intemperance and corruption.—Strike out.the two-bottom lines. U (Published by Arrangement.)
