"THE SLANDERERS."

On Monday "The Slanderers"' will head the hill. Johnnie Walker, noted for his work in many snappy modern productions, has the lead, with Gladys Hulette." Walker has the role of a self-sacrificing elder brother who suddenly awakens to the fact that he must stand trial for murder if he would protect his younger brother who enlists tit the first call for volunteers. From then on the story takes a number of novel twists. Tragedy overtakes him in the form of slanderous tongued neighbours who try to make life miserable for him after a jury frees him.
