CHILD'S BODY FOUND.

VICTIM OF THE BRIDGE TRAGEDY. Tiie body uf a little boy was found near the .Shannon bridge yesterday on tiie bank of the Manawatu River. It is understood to be the youngest of Mr C. H. Withers' sons, aged about six years, whu with his ,broUier and mother were drowned on Sunday, August 16th, when the car driven by their father plunged over the bridge at Rangiotu. The body was found by Messrs Maunder and Pigott, who were getting firewood near the Shannon Bridge. It is supposed that it was washed down the Oroua river into the Manawatu by the flood last week.
