Other noteworthy numbers are the Five Perrys, distinguished acrobats and springboard-flyers; Janies and Evans, astounding perch and ladder balancers; the three Dolly Vardens, iron-jawed marvels, and Oliver Jack and his troupe of Continental clowns and dummies. , Amongst the thirty trained horses and ponies' are Dempsey and Firpo, the boxing ponies; Commodore, the football pony, and Tommy, who counts, smokes,-'dunces and dispUijs extraordinary intelligence. The managerie, comprising animals from all parts of the Globe; includes Leo, the largest lion in Australasia.
