GOLF NOTES.

. — + The boisterous weather on Saturday last interfered considerably with the monthly medal match, and as there were so few entries on this account it may be necessary to have the match played at some future date. The September match is. usually the last medal event of the season and it was particularly unfortunate that the weather proved so- bad for play. Next Saturday a team* of 12 men and six ladies will visit Foxton and play a return match with the Herrington Club. The teams and ar* rangements in connection with travelling will be announced later. ;
