f Nurse Jones, iQf the Plunket Socie--1 ty, whp now visits Shannon every Monday, reports taut since she started visiting here, three months ago, 140 adults have visited her at the rooms j and 251 children and that she has made 34 visits to homes. «From the ! above figures it can be seen that the formation iqf a branch of the Society l in Shannon was warranted, and it is now found necessary to procure more, suitable rooms. At present the nurse l is using the Library as a visiting room, while mothers who are waiting their turn have to remain in the reading roo/m. What is required is rooms which will ibe more private and with this object in view the secretary of the committee (Mrs B. Spencer) will be pleased to. hear from any persons who have one or two rooms to let for one day a week, and which are conveniently situated.
