(Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, August 26. The headquarters of the Seamen's and Firemen's Union declared • to-day that no ships have been held up or prevented from sailing by a Communist plot. In consequence of what i occurred in South African ports, the Union has sent a lengthy cable to Mr Hertzog, in terms of the similar cable to Mr Bruce, asking for protection for the crews willing to work.
