INTERPROVINCIAL RUGBY.

SHOWGROUNDS, PALMERSTON N

The combined representative team, who played for the first time against the strong Southland touring team a fortnight ago, and gave such a fine display, will meet the Taranaki touring team on the Palmerston North Showgrounds on Wednesday next. The district's representative team are sure to give an excellent account of themselves and will keep the tourers very busy. The Taranaki combination are a fine side and always attract many admirers and for years past, have always been in the limelight of Rugby football.

It can be safely mentioned that the match will be one of the best fixtures seen on any ground this year, and is sure to attract a.large gathering. The train service is in accordance with the requirements of the travelling public, as the match- will start at 2.30 p.m. and the public have ample time to catch the return train.
