BUILDING UP THE LOAD. The demand for power is growing steadily in the Horowhenua district and the Power Board is steadily linking up its consumers. The following table shows the position at present as compared with three months ago: May. Aug.
During the month 65 new consumers have been livened up, 14 industrial motors, total 286. h.p., 5 ranges, 15 water heaters, and 16 milking motors.
