Wanganui and southern motorists complain bitterly of a nuisance, m the form of a number of cattle, that for weens past have been permitted to graze on the road between Wa ngaehu and Turakina. The cattle obstruct the road nightly, and are permitted to browse at ease, to the constant danger of motorists. One mo-tor-car owner informed a reporter yesterday that he was more amazed than surprised that a serious accident had not occurred at night tim« on this stretch of road. "It is abso lutely criminal," he said, "especially in view of the heavy fogs that feature this part of the country at this time of the year, that these cattle arc allowed to wander to the immediate danger 6t the travelling public."Wanganui Chronicle.
