SHANNON STOCK SALE.
Aft the monthly stock sale held in the Shannon yards yesterday there was a good yarding of cattle and a few pens of sheep. There was a. fair attendance of buyers and competition was keen, practically the full yarding changing hands, the sale being a most successful one. Following . are the prices realised:—Sheep: Good woolly hoggets IBs 3d, hoggets 21s 3d. Cattle: Yearling heifers £2 10s to £2 11s 6d, springing'heifers £4 15s. to £8 dairy cows £4 12s to £5 15s, prime fat’ cows £7 2s 6d, fat cows £4 11s to £4 17s 6d, forward cows £3 2s 6d to £4, store cows 30s, cows in calf £3 Iss, 3-year steers £7 16s.
