GOOD PRICES AT CLEARING SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Co., Ltd., aclvise that their sale on behalf of .Messrs Bradiield Bros., at lhakara, on Saturday, fully came up to expectations as to price, attendance ' and competition. The best cows sold at from £ll to £ls 10s, medium quality £8 to £lO 10s, fair quality £6 to £7 10s, inferior grade brought £4 to £5 each. Springing heifers made from £5 to £7 10s, pedigree Jersey cows realised 22Jgns, and a grade Jersey hull fetched £5. A number of store pigs brought 32s to 345, sows r.w.b. were sold from £5 to CIO 10s, while a boar went to the hammer at £2, So far as the implements, etc., were concerned, the ploughs went at £lO to £l3, a spring cart sold for £9, and the balance of tools and sundries fetched good prices.
