TRAGEDY FOLLOWS WEDDING.
Tragedy followed a happy wedding party in Sydney, when a young man who was one of the guests shot himself dead with a revolver, after returning to his home. The man lived with his mother in Annandale, and shortly after she had opened the door for him when he came home from the party and saw him to his room, she was horrified to hear a shot, and then found that her son had shot himself through the head.
A pathetic story was told to the Annandale police concerning the affair. The man, they were told, arrived home under the influence of liquor. H© seemed incapable of opening the front door, and his mother, who was waiting up for him, got him inside. She was upset because he had been drinking, and commenced to cry. She helped her son to his room, and as she walked away she heard him say: "I'm fed up." The young man's brother-in-law and his wife, who also reside in the house, hearing somebody moving about, went to the man's room. Just as they got to.the door they saw him raise a revolver, turn the muzzle to his head, and pull the trigger. ,
