"THE TEN COMMANDMENTS."
LAST SHOWING TO-NIGHT.
"The Ten Commandments" shown at the Maoriland Theatre on-Wednes-day evening was a picture fully appreciated. The scenes were very fine and the acting of the best. There seems nothing impossible to the camera- man nor the director. Both have proved themselves supreme in presenting the Bible version of the giving of the Ten Commandments. Fundamentalists and modernists may argue forever, but each and all must respect the law as laid down by .Moses. If any doubts cloud the minds of ihe academic disputants, let them live through the Exodus from Egypt, follow the leadership of Moses and learn the lesson of the tablets of stone —and nothing else matters. In presenting "The Ten Commandments" and the history of the Israelites and Kgyptians, Mr be Mille has made the screen speak louder than the spoken word. The proprietors of the theatre are to be congratulated on presenting such a fine picture to the public of .Shannon. The picture will be screened again this evening, and those who have not already witnessed it should not miss this opportunity.
