GOLF NOTES.

JULY MEDAL MATCH. The July medal maich will be played on the local Units to-morrow afternoon commencing any time after 12 noon. Players will choose their own partners. On the following Saturday a team of men will travel to Palmerston to play a return match with Manawatu Club. This match, will also include the playing off of a challenge for the Nathan Cup for which, the scores of the six top men of the Shannon team will be taken. The total number to travel, will in all probability ,be twelve, but, further particulars will be available later.
