LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
The usual weekly sale held at the Levin yards yesterday was well up to standard for this time of the year when the yarding m nearly all lines is on the light side, there was good competition for all lines of sheep which realised satisfactory prices. Quotations: 1 sheep—Fat ewes 31s, mixed sex hoggets 20s sd, fat and forward ewes 22s 9d ewes in lamb 30s 6d to .ss, wether -hoggets 275, ewe hoggets 26s 3d, black face hoggets 265. Ca t.tie —Store cows- £2 to £3 ss, mi cows £3 9s to £4 17s 6d, dairy cows £5 5s to £8 10s. Pigg.-very small yarding. Stores 265, heavy porkers £2 3s, light baconers £2 Us.
