LEVIN MARKET.
PRICES UNCHANGED. There was a small yarding of stock at the Levin weekly sale on Tuesday, prices being materially on a par with those prevailing of late. Sheep were represented by less than half-ar-dozen small lines, mostly inferior, and pigs by about a dozen'stores and porkers. The cattle offered were also mostly of poor, quality and sold accordingly. I’rices were as follow: Pigs: Stores 23s to 25s 6d, porkers ;>:’>s to £2. Sheep: Forward wethers 365, empty ewes. 22s 6d. mixed sex lambs 11s 3d. Cattle: Light fat cows £3 15s to £4 9s, forward cows £2 9s to £3 ss, store cows 29s to £2, dairy cows to £6 10s, springing heifers £3 10s to £6, 2-year steers £4 10s, 2-year steers £2 19s to £4 14s.
