MATCH WITH SHANNON. A match was played on the local links against the Shannon Club, on Saturday afternoon, the Levin Club winning after a very pleasant series of matches by 13 games to 7. Results are as follow, Levin players in all instances being mentioned first:— Harper lost to Saxon. Prance lost to Seifert. Kilsby lost to Morgan. Wood won from Spencer. H. O. Clark lost to Gagliardi. Hosie won from Johnston. O’Donnell lost to Mackereth. Brown won from Blackwood. Rev. Bawden Harris won from Goodwin. Suhan won from Robinson. Throne won from Moody. J. Marsh drew with Goodwin. Mrs K. E. Adams won from Mrs Johnstone. , Mrs P. H. Harper lost to Miss Goodwin. Mrs W, M. Clark won from Miss Sinclair. Miss Marsh won from Miss Ross. Mrs J. D. Adams won from Miss Cole. Mrs Marsh won from Mrs Spencer. Mrs C. G. Wilson won from Miss E. Saxon. Mrs Hosie lost to Mrs Hutton.
