COUNTY RATES FOR 1925-26.
INCREASE In ’oTAKI RIDING At the annual statutory meeting of the Horowhenua Comity council, the following rates were struck lor me ensuing year, the figures, given m parenthesis representing last year s rate. As will be noted, the only instance in which a rise in rate has been made is in the Otaki riding, where last year it was reduced to 3'l from the figure at which it is now Used. The increase in the case of Otaki has been necessitated by that liding ba v ing less credits in hand—tLat is, moneys such as outstanding i’a l PS unexpended revenue, etc.—’than ast year so that expenditure will have lo a greate v extent be met out of the rate struck.:— . „ „ „ Tokomaru Riding £d i.n the £ (Jc...
