MEETING OF COMMITTEE. At a meeting of ttie Managjemeitf Committee of the Shannon Club, it was decided to enter a senior, junior and tbir4 team, ior the seyen-a-siue tournament at Palmerston North on Juhj 3rd. A motion of sympathy was also passed to Mr Westwood, a prominent member of tiie F'oxton Club, who was repotted to be seriously ill. It was decided that the subscription for the fourth team he Is and that Rule Books for younger players be secured. After discussion it was agreed to erect fences on the side lines at the Recreation Ground. Mr Hardy 'moved that delegates to union be instructed to have the H. McDonald case reopened with a view to having "his life disqualification, removed.—Carried.

A committee was set up to arran<>v a football dance at an early date. Mr J. Grays offer to coach the fourth team was accepted with thanks. Messrs Johnston and' Maync were also thanked for services in coi.nection with the juniors.
