SHANNON FLOWER SHOW.
A HIGH QUALITY DISPLAY. The hover show held in the Parish Hail on Saturday was not as well patronised as it should have been, no doum owing to a number of counter attractions. Although tlie number oi entries received were small, the quality was good, particularly the curysamhemum exhibits.. Apart from tiie exhibits of flowers and vegetables, there were stalls well supplied with articles both useful and ornamental, which me thrifty ones were able to secure at bargain prices. In the evening several competitions were got off in which the lucky ones, secured some very nice prizes. The secretary (Rev. Mr" Farneil) and his committee had everything well arranged and worked liarh, for which they are to be coinplimenied. Afternoon' tea was served ny several members of tlie Ladies’ Guild mid supper was served in the evening.
