I Miss Olive Wilton spent the week ■ end here and -returned again to Hast- ! ings on Tuesday. I By all appearance there is every ! indication of great prosperity in i i'okomaru—not only have there been a large number of motor cars purchased in the last six months, but a number of properties have changed hands. One valuable property owned by Mr J. Liggins has been disposed of to Mrs W. H. Miles for £BO per acre, which has been handed over to the Sports Committee in exchange for the past sports ground. This exchange has greatly improved the value of Mrs Miles’ present property, which it adjoins.
