“MORD EM‘LY.” Eor entertainment oi a thrilling nature—and laughs that come straight from the heart—and a love story clean us a whistle—for backgrounds new as to-morrow’s sun—see “Mord “Em’ly,” the fascinating story of a little Cockney girl, who. hutted, her way from a slavey to iaine. Betty Balfour, England’s Mary Pickford, plays the part of the Cockney servant, and her humour is indescribably delicious. She is so splendid as “Mord EniTy” that this characterization is worthy of rank with her impersonation of Squibs—which is saying a great deal. “Mord Em’ly” is a clean, healthy comedy, and the producer is to be commended on his portrayal of a very definite and typical pnase of English life. It will be screened at the Maoriland Theatre on Wednesday night.
“WOMAN TO\WOMAN.’”' The picture that will be screened, on Friday night is the inspired version of Michael Mo'rton’s sensational play, “Woman to. Woman,” recently introduced hy Lady Forhes-Robertson the mightiest flood of human emotion ever put up in eight tremendous acts.
