EXTRA DAY'S RACING.

- LEVIN CLUB SECURES ANOTHER PERMIT. FOR THIS YEAR ONLY. As the result uf an application made some time ago, the president of the Levin Racing Club (Mr T. Bevan), has now received advice from the Minister of Internal Affairs, that the Levin Club is being loaned an extra racing day for use m the current year. Some time ago it became known that, on account of some q>f the clubs who participated in the division of the twelve new permits allocated last year, not being able to use them at once, fliese would be available tor loaning to other clubs for this season, and an application was accordingly put in. The permit naturally applies to this year only, but it is felt that U strengthens Levin’s position when the redistribution of permits, which has been hinted at, is made. A meeting 'Otf stewards will be held to-morrow evening to go into the question of a meeting.
