METHODIST CHURCH.
HARVEST^ESTIVAL. The harvest festival organised by the ladies’ committee of the Methodist Church was held in the Parish Hall Last evening, it had been untended to hold a bazaar in the middle oi February, hut owing tq. the restrictions in consequence of the epidemic this was postponed. For some months
past file ladies had been preparing articles and it was decided to hold the sale of goods hist evening. The sale commenced in the alternoiom and was continued in the evening and considering that the restr'ietions have not been removed there was a i'tur attendancu both at'lernoon and evening. A splendid lot of vegetables and fruit was sent along while the fancy, sewing and jumble stalls were well loaded with garments and uselul articles of all kinds; the whole meeting with a ready "'sale. There was alsn a sweet stall where parents were able to purchase sweets and toys to take home to the children. The afternoon tea and supper rooms were also well patronised.
