The man ran away without showing his face, out the back door and over the back fence. The (1 inner—well, it was not eaten. At the Maoriland Theatre on Wednesday. JACKIE COOGAN ON FRIDAY. In “Long Live the King,” the Metro picture which comes to the Maoriland Theatre on Friday, Jackie coogan’s costuming problem was different from all his previous pictures; instead of rags and tatters, he had twenty-four complete changes oi wardrobe for this one role. It seems to be a rule in Europe that the smaller 'the kingdom more elaborate the uniforms, and (Lavoinia is la small principality “Somewhere in the Balkans.” Consequently, 'the uniforms worn by the Crown Prince, as an honorary member of various regiments, are of an exceedingly elaborate nature, .combining all the gorgeous glitter of the numerous countries that surround the Balkans. Jackie wears a cavalry uniform of blue and red and gold that snaps like the Uhlans of Potsdam in their palmiest davs. He has a g'i-lt sword—and h really cuts, too—carved and polished to a degree that would deßobt'a hleguardsman.
