POLICY IN REGARD TO DATES

A conference was held in Palmerston yesterday of representatives of Agricultural and Pastoral Associations to consider what should be done in regard to the holding of shows at present suspended owing to the epi-demic-restrictions. There were present the executive committee of the conference of North Island A and P. Associations, representatives of W.aipuku'rau, W'oodvalle, Pahiatua and Horowhenua A. and P. Associations (the latter being represented by the president, Mr s. A. Broadbelt, and vice-president, Mr G. 'fully).

It was decided that after the restriction is lifted one clear week is to lapse, and then Waipukurau will hold their show on the first Tuesday thereafter, WoodviUe on the Thursday and Friday of the same week, Horowhenua on the Tuesday and Wednesday of the following week, and Woodville on the Friday of that week.
