It is a company ot well-trained singers and entertainers, presenting popular progia mines, in winch the never-to-be forgotten southern melodies predominate—those plantation songs so rich in harmony. It is claimed that the Dix.ie Jubilee Singers are the greatest combination of their kind in the world to-day. As it is some 30 years since a similar combination visited New. Zealand, the coming of the “(Dixies” should, be very, welcome. These artists have been engaged to tour the whole ol New. Zealand and Australia, and the introduction of this attraction to New Zealand has only been made possible by the exercise of patience and sustained negotiations, for, being in such huge demand, the company is. naturally a costly one., and the management should feel proud of its achievement and will undoubtedly receive the support it deserves.
