It is amiounced that William Heuglian, the world-lamed dramatic basso cuntanle, described as “The King of Scottish Song,” who is at present on a world tour, will commence his tour of New Zealand at an early date. He has appeared throughout the principal cities of Australia with marked success and finished his second and fareweil season in Sydney, on January 10th. On the occasion of his appearance in the Town Hall, Sydney, on January Ist, he received from a great audience of some 4000 people, an ovation such as is seldom .accorded to any artist. With magnificent vocal equipment he combines dramatic talent of the very highest order, making him an artist' worth going miles to hear.
