ALL BLACKS PLAY .LAST MATCH. WON BY 30 TO ©. (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, Jan. 18. For the last match of their tour m England. and France, the AH Blacks were favoured with ideal condnionu. Hie match, at Toulouse drew a huge crowd, it being estimated that twenty mjotisand .were unable to gam admission to the ground.
Botn tire New Zealand and French teams received a tumultuous reception. The New Zealanders completed their tour with an unbeaten, record, defeating the French side by 30 to 6. In the early stages of the game the French forwards pressed strongly and Nepia was called on to defend the line with ah his might.. The visitors soon retaliated and after a splendid passing rush, Porter went over in the .corner five minutes from the start. Nichojis failed with the kick.
Three minutes later another glorious passing movement overwhelmed ail the opposition and enabled steel to score under the posts, Nicholis converting. The French struggled valiantly and several times threatened the Ali Black line, but the tourists’ defence was equal to the occasion.
The next score came when Lucas outstripped all opposition and passed to Svenson, who crossed; Nicholis missing with the kick. The AH Blacks forwards attacked with wonderful dash and twice in succession, White scored- Nicholis failed to convert either. The Frenchmen made occasional brilliant rallies, but the All Blacks’ line was not crossed at half time, when the score was— New Zealand 17 France'' Nil
