HOROWHENUA A. AND P. SHOW POSTPONED.
ON ACCOUNT OF HEALTH DEPARTMENT’S EDICT. At a meeting of the committee of die norowhenua A. and P. society neld oh Saturday evening, it was decided that on account oi the Health Department's, precautionary reguiauons in connection with the outureaK of miantile paralysis, winch oesiues making it impossible to nold tile ciuuieii’s. events, would mevitaoiy miniate against the attendance and general success of the Show, to postpone the event, penning the repeal oi me regulations.- As tins depends, entirely on the duration of tne epidemic, uo date could be fixed for the holding ot the show. The secretary was instructed to get in touch with the vVaipukurau and WoodviUe A. and P. Associations, which have also postponed their shows, with a view to arranging dates for their holding which will not clash, the president and vicepresident, Messrs S. A. Broadbelt, and Guy Tuliy. respectively, being appointed to Anally arrange a date. Naturally, however, nothing definite can be done until after the repeal of the epidemic regulations. In the meantime any exhibitor who may desire to withdraw his cxiiibil will be permitted to do so, and his entry fee will be refunded, but in all cases where, a. withdrawal is not made, the entry will stand* When ihe date of the Show is ftn r ally decided on, new entries for the different events will be allowed, and a closing date fixed.
