BOWLING.

A rink from Shannon skipped by Mr E. Spencer,, took part to the Wanganui Bowling Tournament at that town last week, and were successful in winning four games out of the nine played by them. The third and ‘final round for the Triangular Shield will take place, on the local green to-morrow (Wednesday); when two rinks each from Levin and Foxton will play the local bowlers. The. green is expected to be in excellent order and a good day’s sport should follow.
