Reuben Gordon, an Australian, who is staying at a West End hotel, is the latest victim of the confidence tricksters who are watching the movements of visitors to Australia I-louse. Gordon told the police that he unsuspectingly handed £0)0 to two chance acquaintances, in the Strand, who had convinced him of the financial gain from turning English credit into Australian money. Gordon had a lengthy wait outside Australia House before his suspicions were aroused.
