DO RECORDS FLATTER?
LONDON, Dec*. 26. The newspapers discussing Galli Curci’s farewell concert prior to her departure for America state that she gave pleasure mixed with disillusionment. - She was in better voice than at her previous concerts and showed greater command of tone colour, Ibut her technique is not yet sufficiently advanced, while her irresistible lighter songs do- not Compare favourably with her gramophone records.
