EMANCIPATION OF WOMEN. /' • LONDON, Dec. SI. •Mr Arnold Bennett, in an article in the Sunday Pictorial, says he is of the opinion that women of 1944 will be more normal than their forerun- , ners, owing to the development of electrical heating, lighting, and cooking, and simplification of other household tasks, which will give them increased freedom and enable them to/ see more ioif the world and increase their ideas.
