Bennett and Sharp then carried the score to 46 before, the former mishit one to Douglas in the slips. Bennett had batted, very soundly with good strokes .all round thewicket for his 25. Walker played one on to his wicket before scoring hut Field soon got going and the score was carried to .72 by careful hatting, when Sharp was caught by Rickett for 18. Field went soon after for 19 scored in this characteristic style but none of the remainder ran into double figures Madsen finished up with 'the excellent average of 7 to, 17. Results were as follow:
