LUCKY NO. 13.

£SOOO FROM "TATTS." WON BY SHORE QUARTETTE. Four residents of North Shore (Auckland) who are associated in their daily occupation, recently decided to take a ticket in one of Tattersall's sweeps, but they did not make the application under o'ne of their own names, but as "No. 13." When the results of this particular sweep became known a few days ago, the first prize was drawn by the lucky Shore party, and they found themselves £SOOO better' off, less, of course, the taxation that is associated with such prizes. After this, who shall maintain that No. i 3 is u'nlucky?
