HOROWHENUA CRICKET ASSOCIATION.
THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting qf the Horowheii'.uia Cricket Association was held in Williams' Tea Rooms Levin, on Wednesday night. The delegates present were Messrs H. Hook and Bisnop (Shannon), Sloan and Young (Wora. roa), Anderson and Fletcher (Levin), and A. H. Morgan, hqn. secretary. Mr Hook presided. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £9 and was adopted. Officers were elected as follows: patron.—Mr H. Hook. ■ President.—Mr A. Hawke. Vice-president.—Mr J. Bebbmgtou. Hon. Sec and Treas.—Mr R. A. Sloan. , , , Selector.—Mr D. S. Mackenzie. School delegate.—Mr A. Hi. Morgan. It wias decided that teams must be nominated hy October 18th. A meeting of delegates will be held at Otaki.on October 22nd to draw up fixtures, etc It was decided that each club oe written tq and asked to nominate persons interested -tfl lonrm an lmnires' Association incorporated in trie Association as ex Qfficiq members. It was resolved that rep. players be supplied with.caps. A sub-committee consisting of the secretary, president, and Mr Eletdner was appointed to re-draft the Associathanks, to the retiring sec retary and president and Mr Williams for the nse of his rooms were carried.
