A GREAT SUCCESS.

For some weeks past the members oi me Ladies’ Guild oi Veil. Bedes have been working hard In preparation of the bazaar which was opened “v tne iiev.- Mr fancomc, ol paimerslon worth, in toe Druids’ Hail on Hfdav afternoon and oontinued until Saturday evening. On Friday aiter-uuo-i were was a good attendance while both Saturday afternoon and evening the. 'hall was well filled. The bazaar, both from a, social and financial point, ol view, was a splendid success and the committee responsible are to be complimented on tne nianuei i a wiiicu they catered lor their patrons. On entering the building a busy scene met the eye, the whole being a hive ot industry. Along each side oi line building stalls had been tastefully arranged and decorated, each being loaded with useful and tempting goods of all description, while there were also side shotvs. These included an*Egyptian dwarf, 2ft Sin high, who proved a great, attraction, and was very cleverly got up. A large number availed themselves <of me opportunity to Interview the strange visitor. The baby show, candle-lighting and nail-driving competitions aroused a lot of interest, while there was keen competition by the different stall liomeis m toeir endeavour to rake in toe mighty dollar. , The ladies conducting the different stalls together with their assistants, are tQ be complimented on the harmonious way in which all worked together.
