WERAROA 20, TE HORQ 4. The final of the Third Grade Competition which was played between Te Horo and Weraroa as a curtainraiser for the Junior Final resulted in an easy win for Weraroa by 20 points to 4, this toeing a fairly good indication ; of the relative merit of the teams. Play was very fast and open, the Weraroa backs ' especially showing up well in quick neat passing. The game had not been long in progress When from, a forward rush Sythes got over for Weraroa, no goal resulting, ?.—O. Tries in the second spell were scored toy Warren, Cole, Heremaia, Gill and Bull, one toeing converted. Windley potted a goal for Te Horo. Mr R. Kingi was referee.
