MAIN TRUNK DEVIATION.
LEVIN-MARTONi SCHEME. Mr. W. H. Field (Otaki) has given notice to ask the Minister of .Railways whether tihe proposal which has been before the public for about forty years for the construction of a deviation of the Main Trunk line from Levin by way of Foxton to Marton, comes within the order of reference of the commission recently appointed to consider our railway policy and administration.
