The services of Mr Duckworth's orchestra have been secured, and given a* fine evening an enjoyable time is promised to participants. Mr Cyril Whyte is spending a sihort holiday in the Empire City. Miss Moody is visiting friends in the South Island. Mr George Bacon is still lying seriously ill at his home. Mr C Palmer has been granted leave in order to attend the Territorial camp at Trentham.
