WEEKLY SALE. There wag a small yarding of stock at the Levin weekly sale yesterday and owing to the inclemency of the weather a poor attendance of buyers Pigs sold well at a slight advance on late rates, the small yarding being probably responsible far this to a certain extent. A few prime lines of fat sheep were offered, wethers mak- . ing 5& and heavy lambs -&s. Store sheep were not wanted. The cattle yarded were of poor quality and the inquiry slack, ty-ices were as follow; • ■ Pigs.—Weaners. 13s 6tl to £l, stores £1 to 28s, light porkers 37s 6d to £2 4d, lieavier £2 fo to £2 16s, light baconers £3 'is, sows to farrow £3 10s to £6. Sheep.—Heavy prime wethers- 535, prime fat lambs 425, others 255, fat arid forward black face lambs £1 Is, fat ewes 28s Cattle.—Forward cows 35s to £2, Is, store cows 12s 6d to 336, woaner heif6TS 303 C<i,
