SHANNON STOCK SALE.
The monthly stock sale was held in the Shannon yards yesterday when there was a fair attendance of buyers. Only a moderate yarding of sheep and cattle came forward and a fair sale resulted, considering the quality of stock offered. The following are the prices realisedSheep: Woolly hoggets Jo 22s 6d. shorn (hoggets 15s lOd to 17s 6d, small do 10s to 12s 6d, fat wethers 20s, fat ewes 24s 6d to 265. Cattle: (Four-year-old bulloicks £4 17s 6cl, forward ‘cows to £3, store cows usual potter prices.
